I cans tell you that I have lived on Florida's east coast before coming to the Bay Area, I lived through Andrew and survived Wilma, never take a hurricane for granted. It only takes that one storm to possibly change your entire life. So be prepared, stock up on all your supplies now. DO NOT WAIT TILL THE LAST MINUTE.

You make a very valid point. It only takes one and we all need to be aware that it can happen at any time, whether we have 14 storms or 2. It is where they strike that makes it horrible. Thank you for reminding us of that.

Good comments on the hurricanes and a slow year, I hear people predict a lower number of hurricanes and breath a sigh of relief, however your point is well made, it only takes one to devastate your life. Thanks! Bob Graham
