Remember the dealer that sells the boat will be your partner for advice and service. So, when shopping for a boat, also shop for the dealer you feel most comfortable with. Once you've found that dealer, they'll be able to answer a lot of your questions and point you in the right direction. The first thing you'll need to do is to decide what details are important to you and then work from there. You may want to make a list of what you'll require of the boat and the activities you'll want to pursue. Then use that list when you look at boats in the size and range you need. Comparison-shop, look at a few boats and then narrow them down. Is there a package deal that includes certain equipment? Is a trailer an option? Does it have the strength to do the job? Most importantly can you afford what you're looking at? And do you feel confident about your decision? If you do it's probably the right choice.
