TAMPA,FL -- They look like average workers in an average office, but collectively, a group of employees at Pepin Distributors have done an amazing thing.

They lost 2600 pounds. What could be better? Their boss paid for the employees to follow the Medi-Weightloss program, at a cost of $1500 to $2000 a person.

"Basically your return on investment, for every dollar that you spend over time 3 to 4 dollars comes back."

But it wasn't just about money for vice president J. Paul Pepin, who lost 25 pounds himself.

"We, in the beer business it's, sometimes it gets hard to stay healthy. These guys work extremely hard and their families suffer for the time they're away from them, so basically it was a chance to give them a superior quality of life."

Jeff Hoschak lost 84 pounds on the program that consisted of a physical exam, vitamins, an appetite suppressant, a calorie restricted diet and exercise.

"I knew it needed to happen. I lost my dad when he was young from a heart attack, so it kinda woke me up and I got kids so I made sure I’d be around for all of them."

Pepin also paid for family members to join the program. Jeff's son decided it was time to lose weight too. He dropped 40 pounds.

"We're all a lot happier."

And that means everything to J. Paul. "Happy employees are good employees."
