To all USF fans wondering why the Bulls-Louisville game will not be aired on our station, November 21, here is the answer.

First of all, the air time on Saturday at noon is designated to our ABC Network. We were informed that the USF-Louisville game was available to us in the same time slot as the Ohio State Michigan game. So, we asked ABC for their approval. We never committed to airing the USF game. We said we would check first with ABC Network to see if this could be accomplished.

ABC Network came back and asked for our support of the Michigan-Ohio State game since our area makes up 2% of the country’s viewership. It was ABC’s big national game, and we supported their request.

Believe me; we would have loved to air the USF-Louisville game. It would be a no-brainer. We made every effort to get the game cleared.

Unfortunately, this time, it didn’t work out.

I underatand the disappointment. But there was no absolutely no intent on our part to pre-empt the USF game for Ohio State-Michigan. We tried to get the USF game cleared in the time-slot designated for the Ohio State-Michigan game, but it unfortunately didn’t work out.
