We've talked countless times about the plethora of high school talent that comes out of the Tampa Bay area.
On Saturday afternoon, Largo High was in the spotlight.
Two of Head Coach Rick Rodriguez's former running backs had awesome days on the field.
First of all, Mississippi's Dexter McCluster rushed for a team single game record 282 yards and four touchdowns in the Rebels 42-17 win over Tennessee. It was also the most rushing yards ever given up to a running back by the Vols.
McCluster did finish the game with 324 all-purpose yards.
Then in Orlando today, McCluster's former teammate Brynn Harvey helped USC upset 15-ranked Houston.
Harvey rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns in Central Florida's 37-32 upset win over the Cougars.
More stars of tomorrow in the Bay area will tee it up Friday night when the high school playoffs get underway.
