According to the New York Post, former Mets GM and current ESPN baseball analyst Steve Phillips has been suspended by the sports network for one week due to the bizarre aftermath of an extramarital affair.

Phillips apparently decided to end an affair he was having with production assistant Brooke Hundley, 22. Hundley then decided to deliver a letter to Marni, Steve Phillips wife, chronicling the relationship in detail. In the process, she managed to hit the Phillips home with her car.

Phillips has a prior history of this type of behavior, having been suspended once from the Mets when he was GM due to other extramarital affairs.
