7th Heaven for the Rays.
4-1 Rays over Toronto in Toronto.
That's seven straight wins for the defending American League champions.
And the Rays finally get a helping hand. Baltimore rallies from a 10-1 deficit to bounce Boston 11-10. That pulled the Rays to within four games of the top spot in the AL East.
BJ Upton got it started with a bang. He homers on the game's opening pitch. Carl Crawford and Willy Aybar also belt homers. And the Rays get excellent pitching from Matt Garza. Garza gives up one run on 7 hits into the 8th. Garza goes to 6-5 on the season.
The Rays go to a season-high nine games over .500.
Again seven consecutive wins...
And the big question Wednesday afternoon will be ...is eight enough?
