The Bucs probably won't sell out more than 4 regular season games this year and less if they start out slow. They are constantly running ads for ticket packages. RayJay may look like the Old Sombrero with more opposing team colors than Bucs. Albert was telling it like it is.

Are you saying he lied about the offer? What he said about the fans sounds about right. Tampa has two different fan bases, the one before 1998 and after the Gruden Bowl, and the one between 1998 and the Gruden Bowl. In Tampa alone the Redskins are probably the 4th most popular team, after the Bucs, Dolphins, and Cowboys and right before the Broncos and Bears. If such information hurts, it doesn't mean it's wrong. I guess it just depends on whether you define fan base as those who show up when you make the playoffs or those who show up during a typical season. Players almost always define fans as those who stick with you when you're down. The Redskins have enough fans around the country that if Snyder decided he could make more money moving the team all the way across the country to Los Angeles, they'd probably be sold out 10 years in advance(Side note: a study found that the Redskins are the second most popular non-california team in LA).
