Clear Channel Tampa has officially offered a retraction and apology for statements made by Dan Sileo on Thursday morning's talk show.

A statement was posted today on WDAE's website stating." During a broadcast Thursday on WDAE, morning host Dan Sileo made some statements about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Glazer family that were factually incorrect.  We sincerely apologize for those statements and hereby issue a full retraction."

Meanwhile, Sileo remains on indefinite suspension.

On Thursday, Sileo quoted a "friend" in the Security and Exchange Commission, saying the Bucs lost $400 million dollars in the Bernie Madoff ponzi scheme.

He also surmised that with such a financial hit,  it could lead to the sale of the Buccaneers.

Yesterday, Bucs Co-Chairman Joel Glazer issued a written statement which said the team is not, nor ever has been for sale.  Glazer also said the family has never invested one penny with Bernie Madoff.
