Not only did the Bucs lose to the Falcons in the waning seconds of yesterday's game, they also lost two of their players.
Punter Dirk Johnson and DB Torrie Cox weer placed on IR. Johnson injured a hamstring on a fake punt in Sunday's game. Torrie Cox injured his hip.
The Bucs will search for a punter to replace Johnson. CB Brandon Anderson was brought up from the practice squad to fill Cox's position.
Still no word on the status of WR Michael Clayton. He went out early in yesterday's game against Atlanta. Clayton's knee is sore, but his prognosis won't be known until Wednesday when the team reconvenes at One Buc.
The team also place G Aaron Sears on the reserve/non-football list. Sears will be able to workout at One Buc, but he will not be allowed to practice or play with the team for the remainder of the 2009 season.
