The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed linebacker Matt McCoy and released wide receiver Mario Urrutia and re- signed him to the practice squad.

McCoy played the first two games of the season, primarily on special teams, but did start the season opener against Dallas after Geno Hayes was benched for a late arrival on the morning of the game.

He had been released on Sunday after the team added Urrutia to the active roster for some depth at the position.

Urrutia had seven catches for 85 yards in the preseason for the Bucs, but the former Louisville standout was among the team's last cuts.
