Pasco's Danna Thurow selected as Head of the Class Honoree

Last Update: 2/25/2009 9:26 am
ZEPHYRHILL, FL -- Danna thurow's Head of the Class nomination is a love story of sorts. It is about her love for teaching and her husband's love for her. Thurow's husband, Chris, nominated her for our Head of the Class award.

Chris Thurow writes, "she takes pride and time in changing young lives."

Danna Thurow, a kindergarten teacher at Woodland Elementary School in Zephyrhills, knows how critical her job is. She says, "I feel as though kindergarten is the foundation for a child's educational path. If my students leave kindergarten excited and eager to learn then that will set the pace for the next several years to come."

Thurow, a four-year veteran of the classroom, believes a positive attitude is an important key to success. She says, "the only thing I ask my students to do is to try their best. Their work doesn't have to be perfect as long as you give you best."

Thank you Mrs. Thurow for always giving your best. It's just one reason why you're at the Head of the Class.
