TALLAHASSSEE, FL -- Few people will argue that bicycling is a great form of exercise. But Richard Irby of Tallahassee likes to kick it up a notch by peddling around town wearing only a thong.
Irby, who's well known around the State Capitol as 'Speedo Man,' apparently felt a little overdressed in his skimpy bottom-wear.
The 6-foot-3, 220 pound free wheeler recently presented several eyewitnesses with a sneak peek of something they didn't want to see.
While a 55-year-old man in a Speedo is not illegal, officers agreed with the witnesses' point of view.
They gave Speedo Man a police escort to the Leon County pokey for displaying way too much of himself.
Just how much Speedo Man chose to share with others isn't detailed in the official report.
