SPRING HILL, FL -- Clarence Massat took issue with a power company crew working near his yard, so he kicked and beat on one of their trucks, deputies said.

The crew, with the Withlacoochee River Electric Company had to work on an area next to Massat's home at 12170 Coronado Drive.  After speaking to Massat, the crew began work.

Everything was fine in the beginning.

It wasn't long before the crew had to maneuver on to Massat's property to complete the job, according to Hernando County Sheriff's Office.

Massat became enraged and started beating and kicking the company's truck.  Deputies say he damaged the truck's door. He told the investigator, "I damaged their truck as much as they damaged my yard".

Massat banged up his knuckles and hand as a result of his attack.  Deputies further banged him up with a criminal mischief charge.
