Man pistol-whipped over bad calzone

PALM COAST, FL -- It's called customer service.  But Mark Phinney didn't expect such personal attention when he returned his takeout order of calzone to Goomba's Pizzeria.

Flager County cops said the owner of the pizza joint offered Phinney a complimentary pistol whack to the side of his head. 

A police report says security footage captured owner Joseph Milano in the act, who then jumped over the counter and started to assault Phinney and his roommate.

Phinney went there to get his money back because, he said, his calzone wasn't prepared right.  He was taken to the hospital with a bloodied head.

In return, Milano experienced superb customer service from Flagler's finest, who hauled him off to jail and charged him with aggravated assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
