JENSEN BEACH, FL -- Cops got word that Keith Griffin had some really bad stuff on his home computer.
So they paid him a visit.
It didn't take long for officers to find more than 1,000 images of child pornography on his machine.
Griffin had, what he apparently felt, was a perfectly innocent and logical explanation: his cat did it.
Griffin told officers that his cat would jump on his keyboard when he wasn't around.
When he returned, he said he would find strange material on the computer, according to a police report.
A judge decided that instead of finding a book publisher to pay for his amazing story, Griffin will self-publish...after he posts $250,000 bail.
