A lil' phone call causes big trouble

Last Update: 6/26/2009 11:54 am
A Jacksonville man was arrested after he tried to call 911 twice to request a police escort.

20-year-old Michael Kruse wanted a police to take him to Miami to see rapper Lil' Wayne.

After he called 911, his request was denied and authorities told him not to call again unless it was an emergency.

Apparently it was an emergency, because Kruse called them again a few hours later.

He was arrested near I-95 and charged with making a false 911 call.

The police said in a report that Kruse might have been under the influence of an unknown substance.

Kruse didn't get to see Lil' Wayne, but he was able to bond out of jail.
