OLDSMAR, FL -- Chocolate frosted donuts, jelly donuts, over-sized muffins, and many flavors of ice cream.

There are so many choices on the menu at Dunkin Donuts Baskin Robbins on Tampa Road in Oldsmar that Don Drummond comes to this shop once a week.

"What are you going in for?" asked ABC Action News Anchor Wendy Ryan.

"Donuts," Don responded.

"What kind of donuts do you like?" asked Ryan.

"I'm going to get a dozen donuts to take over to my grandkids," answered Don.

And Don was actually at this Dunkin Donuts store on July 7th. That's the day the state shut them down, after finding 15 live roaches in the bakery area, storage area, back room and employee lockers.

"They were out here cleaning it up like crazy right after that. They closed it down, had all the racks outside. I hope they did a good job," Don said.

"Can you speak about the latest inspection reports? I understand you were shut down because of a roach problem?" asked Ryan.

"I wasn't here. We wasn't here," answered a Dunkin Donuts' employee.

Many of the employees we met said they were new and didn't have any idea that during that same visit in July, inspectors also found dairy and meat products at hazardously warm temperatures in the walk-in cooler.

All cold food should be held at 41 degrees or below.

In its previous inspection in March, inspectors found no certified food manager on duty. The same violation we found when we arrived.

"Who's in charge of your kitchen right now? Who's the manager on duty?" asked Ryan.

"She went to the bank right now," answered an employee.

"So you have no manager on duty?" asked Ryan.

"Right," the employee said.

And inspectors discovered a live bee stuck in the donut glazer and Dunkin Donuts was ordered to throw out five gallons of that glaze.

But Henry is a loyal Dunkin Donuts' customer. He eats there every day. So he's taking their recent roach problem in stride.

"Would it keep you from coming back?" asked Ryan.

"As long as it's not on my donut, I'm good," Henry responded.

And Don agrees.

"So does it concern you?" asked Ryan.

"Oh yeah, it's disappointing. But maybe this exposure will help them clean it up," answered Don.
