These grandparents have been through enough. Oh, and to put that obscene comment about George trying to get out of testifying against his daughter is outrageous and ignorant to the fault. Hello??? He DID testify against his own daughter at a grand jury hearing... HELLO!!! People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. These parents have lost a daughter, a granddaughter and their everyday lives that they used to love and know. There by the grace go all of us. These grandparents are good people, who loved their family and this darling little girl. I couldn't imagine knowing that one of my children were capable of this horrific crime. My heart and prayers go out to this family. As a parent, I think to come to the reality that your child committed such an act on her own child is almost out of reach for what any parent can handle. I hate to say it, but this girl did not want this child from the get go. That says a lot. Look at our prisons etc, with the whole young single Mom, different or long gone "baby fathers" Not in my family. It is the child who pays the price in the end. Rest in peace little one.

When I look at George Anthony's face I see pain and grief. My heart breaks for him. I think he was the next victim in this after little Caylee. We have got to pray for him and Caylee! I just pray that God wraps his loving arms around him so that he can find some sort of peace. I can't imagine his pain. Sometimes these news stories sensationalize everything and it is easy to get wrapped up in the story, but we have to remember that this is real and that these are real people who are suffering. Please please pray for him!!! I do not want his life to end in tragedy!

What I don't understand is this: Their granddaughter - A BABY, goes missing and it takes a month to report it. This grown MAN goes missing and it's reported within hours??? I think he is trying to get out of having to be a witness against his daughter, and quite honestly he probably knows more than he is letting on- possibly the implications of his wife & son as well... poor guy, should have given his daughter up from the beginning like his gut told him to...

My heart goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Anthony for all the tragedies they are enduring. I hope with prayer and counseling, they will be able to endure and survive the hardships they are experiencing. God bless that family.-Miss Jones

In the videotaped police interview of George Anthony, he appeared to be reasonable and although he dreaded to face it if the charges were true, you could tell he was aware that Casey constantly lied and was misleading people. Cindy Anthony immediately turned the whole sad story into a crusade with Casey. Despite the teeshirts, her focus has been Casey,Casey,Casey. It was Cindy who warned Casey's former fiance about Casey being unreliable, a liar, lazy, etc. Then, Cindy tries to cast supsicion on that poor guy. All he was guilty of was loving Caylee even after discovering he wasn't her father as Casey first claimed. George Anthony appears to be now facing the loss of his son and his wife if he doesn't go along with their bizarre "the nanny did it" theme. One of his neighbors related how he would pull Caylee around in the neighborhood in a little red wagon while she held her favorite doll. Now, he can't even properly grieve over her because there's no escape in public and very,very possibly at home with Cindy who is an enabler for Casey . Cindy still insists on selling the Help Find Caylee teeshirts on the website based on her story that so many people request them. No, she is still trying to sway public opinion and promote the "nanny did it" so it's business as usual with the website sales. She states the proceeds of the sales goes to charities. Of course, we have to take her word for it. It wouldn't be a surprise if the "charity" wasn't Casey so she can continue to shop from the prison jail for her beauty products and snacks. After Caylee, George Anthony is the next victim. Liars like Casey and Cindy will always survive.

One more thing.I have no idea how the media or talk shows like Nancy Grace and others can possiblity be held accountable for the George's problems or his wife.Everytime a child is missing they have done their part trying to help who ever has seen that child last where many in the public seen kids.With the people going to their home yelling.That was wrong.How many took off from work and used their gas and time that lived miles away from the Anthony's home that went looking for Caylee?What part did Casey really do looking for her child when she first felt she couldn't talk to her daughter's sitter that 1st night or early morning the next day?Why did Casey say she wanted to look for her daughter but she wanted to go by herself?Why now after 7 months the ex boyfriend or boyfriends are being looked at and who put that in the mind of the police or Casey's lawyer?One video or call showed Casey upset when she yell at her parents saying 'everyone is just worried about Caylee'.It's time for the Anthonys to come down to reality and not blame themselves and face the fact that maybe their daughter is not as innocent as they want her to be.Finally why can't Lee be question till he comes back from where ever he is for a month?For something like this one should be forced back to answer questions that the police are asking even (if) he had nothing to do with it.

He wants so much for his daughter to be innocent.He blames the media and public with the stress.I'm sorry for him but it is Casey that really is the blame for his stress.So many stories that are different with the baby sitter saying Caylee was going home with her from the park.Then there was another story.Bottom line is even if a baby sitter says she will take a child home Casey knew best in how the sitter said it.If she said it in a regular cheery voice a parent sure would call later that day and ask how her child is and if the sitter said it in a smart voice a parent would grab her child right away.If a struggle occures then why not call 911 right away.Only Casey knows the true answers to the questions. Sorry to the grandparents but a Normal person sure wouldn't wait longer than a day to talk to their child.They wouldn't wait for a month till grandmother goes to find her asking her where her granddaughter is.Even if Casey was afraid of her mother if she did no wrong she would have called 911 right away.That's the Bottom Line.The only one to blame here is Casey with her 100 different answers to a few questions.

Easy to understand why George is at his wit's end...literally. If I remember this story correctly, this man was a normal family man with a respected career. In less than a year, what this man was looking and working for most of his life, has been taken away from him. First, the missing g-daughter, the nagging, tugging wife lies, the daughter lies to everyone; but the "straw that broke the camel's back" was when the remains of his beloved g-daughter is found. That was a realization that no one in their right mind would want to acknowledge. Results: a mental breakdown of the most sane member os the family; the breadwinner and head of the house. Just when George thought he'd be able to enjoy watching his grand-daughter grow up, she is taken away from him forever. My son is deceased and I have an idea what it is like to have the joy and happiness zapped right smack out of you like being shot with a cannon ball right in the gut. My heart goes out to him and if he is ready to be released today then kudos to him.
