ORANGE COUNTY, FL -- The county meter reader who found Caylee Anthony's remains wants bounty hunter Leonard Padilla to stop talking about him.

Roy Kronk's attorney sent a warning letter to Padilla telling him to stop making comments on national television that his client is connected to the Anthony family.

"We are cataloging each and every false and defamatory statement you have made concerning Mr. Kronk and will be thoroughly reviewing your public statements," David Evans wrote.

In the letter, Evans says Padilla's comments are hurting Kronk's reputatation, implying possible legal action against Padilla.

For his part, Padilla questions how Kronk wound up finding the toddler's remains, and believes Kronk received a tip.

Orange County investigators have said Kronk is in no way connected with the Anthonys and never was a suspect.

Kronk found the remains on December 11 less than a mile from the Anthony home.

He has since been transferred to a county warehouse where he works in inventory control.

Kronk appeared on ABC's Good Morning America in January in an attempt to dispell rumors that he is somehow connected to the case beyond his discovery of the remains.
