ORANGE COUNTY, FL -- A judge will hear motions in the Casey Anthony case on Thursday, including a request to block a controversial jailhouse video.

The video shows Casey's reaction last December when she learned that a child's remains had been found near her home.

Casey reportedly began hyperventilating when she heard the news.

Her attorney, Jose Baez, maintains the recording should never have been made in the first place.  He's also requesting that additional evidence be turned over to his defense team, including photographs, cell phone records and text messages.

Baez says he will introduce a new death penalty attorney on Thursday.  The new attorney will take the place of Terrance Lenamon, who decided to leave the case.

Florida law requires that lawyers who meet certain criteria to be the attorney of record in death penalty cases.  Baez does not meet the criteria.

Casey, who's expected to be at the Thursday hearing, has been in jail since October and is facing first-degree murder charges in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony.

CAYLEE'S MEMORIAL REMOVED

A new memorial for Caylee Anthony will soon fill the empty spot where a massive make-shift memorial once stood.

The old memorial, located in the spot where Caylee's remains were found in East Orange County, contained numerous toys and letters that were removed late Monday night.

It's not known who removed the memorial.
