ORANGE COUNTY, FL -- Some 500 pages of evidence is expected to be made public as early as today in the Casey Anthony murder case.

Orlando station WFTV says the evidence is described as "bombshell."

The stack of paper to be released includes investigator reports from the crime scene where Caylee Anthony's skeletal remains were found, a description of items taken from the Anthony home, and FBI reports.  The evidence was given to the Anthony defense team last week.

One source close to the investigation said the information isn't good for Casey's defense.

On Monday, another 1,100 pages of state evidence was given to the defense that includes witness statements and computer compilations.

Caylee disappeared last June.  Her remains were found by a county meter reader in December not far from the toddler's home (photos).

Investigators say duct tape had been placed across Caylee's mouth.  It's believed the question of whether there were fingerprints on the tape may be answered when the evidence is made public.
