2 TERABYTE MEMORY CARD
Most memory cards are used with digital cameras, music players, cell phones, video game consoles and other electronic devices.
Typical memory cards come with 4, 16, and 32 gigabyte capacities.
Enter the 2 Terabyte SDXC card.
For some perspective, a gigabyte is 1000 megabytes. A terabyte is 1000 gigabytes.
If your digital camera takes pictures that are 10 megabytes in size, you could put 200,000 pictures on a single SDXC card.
Put another way, it could store 100 HD movies.
The SDXC will be available in capacities from 32 gigabytes all the way up to the 2 terabyte ceiling. It’s not available just yet, but is scheduled for a late 2009 early 2010 release.
The SDXC standard will not work in current SD and SDHC devices. The SDXC slot will be backward-compatible with earlier formats.
