What if you could save up to $12,410 in 12 months?

Sounds crazy, right? Well we found a list of 16 ways to slash unnecessary spending that could put a big chunk of change back in your wallet.

If every item on the list was cut out, it would equal $34 per day, or $12,410 annually.

Granted, not everything in the list will apply to everyone, so you probably won't save $12,000, but the steps you can take will help you pocket some cash!

Here are some examples.

Bring your lunch to work. Instead of spending $4-$6 at a deli, you can make sandwiches for $1-$2 each, saving you an average of $3 per day. That's $1,095 per year!

And what about newspapers? Stop home delivery and get the news online! Most newspapers put most of their stories online. If you can't find it on one site, it will probably be on another site. Save hundreds of dollars a year!
