TAMPA, FL -- Police have surveillance video of a man they say robbed a woman at a bank ATM. It happened on Thursday February 12 at around 8:00pm at the Bank of American at 3439 W. Hillsborough Ave, near Himes Ave.

According to police, the suspect waited in the parking lot, and picked out his victim: a young mom with two young children in her car. Detectives say he pretended to take money from an ATM, "Which was great for us, because at that time, we were able to see through surveillance who he was and put a face to that crime," said Janelle McGregor with Tampa Police. Next, the woman withdrew cash from a drive-thru ATM when, police say, moments later, the suspect jumped out of his car and pointed a gun at her. The woman threw an undisclosed amount of cash out of her window and the suspect drove off with it.

Officials say the suspect is a black man, 18-25 years old, 5'6" to 5'8", about 165 pounds, light/medium complexion. In the bank surveillance video, he's seen wearing a white glove on his left hand and a blue sweatshirt with the letters SCSU. Police think he was in a four-door silver Nissan or Toyota that has a spoiler.
