OLDSMAR, FL -- A Pinellas County man was arrested for misusing 911 after authorities say he called to ask for a ride to a bar.

37-year-old Gregory Oras allegedly called 911 three times, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

Oras made one call while he was leaving a bar, and reportedly told the operator that people were shooting at him and that he had a broken nose and bleeding ears.

It turned out he just wanted a ride to a different Oldsmar bar.

Oras was arrested, and reportedly kicked a deputy as he was being put into the patrol car. Deputies used a Taser to stun him.

He was charged with Misuse of 911 and Battery of a Law Enforcement Officer and was booked into the Pinellas County Jail.
