PLANT CITY, FL -- More road depressions mean new headaches for some travelers heading east on Interstate 4.

The Florida Highway Patrol reports the southbound exit of Alexander Street is being affected by a possible sinkhole or depression.  Motorists can use the Alexander exit, but cannot turn south.  They can turn north and detour via Frontage Road.

While it doesn't have the impact like last week's lane restrictions on I-4, the FHP expects some slow downs as travelers approach he Alexander exit.

Down the road, the exit ramp to Branch Forbes Road is also due to a depression in the road.  Traffic may slow as motorists appraoch that exit as well.

There's no word on how long repairs might take.

Monday evening, two sinkholes opened up on I-4 between Thonotosassa Road and Brand Forbes Road.

The sinkholes are not on the roadway, but the exit ramp on I-4 westbound at Thonotosassa Road is now closed.

Last week, eastbound traffic on I-4 was snarled for days after a depression formed in the roadway.  Three of the four eastbound lanes were closed while reprairs were made.
