An Indianapolis couple was allegedly caught smoking marijuana during a late-night food run.
An Arby's employee noticed the smell of marijuana when the couple pulled up with their one-year-old in the backseat.
The employee called 911, then stalled the couple by making them wait for their order.
Officer Brian Silcox said he smelled marijuana as he walked up to the car.
27-year-old Marshall Chatman and 25-year-old Constance Payne told officers that Chatman had been smoking a cigar.
Police said a loaded handgun was found in the car.
Chatman and Payne were arrested on charges of neglect of a dependent. Chatman also faces a marijuana possession charge. Welfare officials took custody of the baby.
