BALDWIN, ME -- A Baldwin man was stopped during his run from the police by his own car.

Cumberland County Sheriff's Deputy Andrew Feeney pulled over a white pickup in Standish, Maine for driving erratically.

When he approached the truck on foot, the driver sped off.

Feeney chased the pickup, which reached speeds of 90mph, to Baldwin, where the driver lost control and crashed into some trees.

27-year-old Kenneth Wright got out of the truck and tried to run, but didn't get very far.

He forgot to put the truck in park, and it rolled over him. Wrigth still tried to run, but feeney threatened to use a Taser on him, so he surrendered.

He is charged with driving drunk and eluding an officer.
