911 is not your taxi service

A Benton, Michigan man was arrested after he used 911 as his personal taxi service.

According to Lincoln District Police, 39-year-old Jorge Murillo called 911 to say he was kidnapped and robbed.

When officer's responded, they found Murillo, looking intoxicated. He told officers that he actually wasn't robbed or kidnapped, but needed a ride home.

He was arrested and given a ride to jail.

Murillo was charged with disorderly conduct/making a false public service agency report, a misdemeanor.
