Angel Food Ministries in Hernando County is accepting orders for food boxes.
Orders will be taken on the following days at Christ Lutheran Church, 475 North Ave. W:
11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday
6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday
6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 9
9 a.m. to noon Oct. 10
11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 11
Orders at the church must be made with cash or food stamps.
Also, pre-orders for the Thanksgiving box will be taken from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 21; online orders will end on Oct. 28, payable with debit or credit card.
Angel Food Ministries is a nonprofit, nondenominational organization that provides grocery relief to anyone interested in participating.
The cost for regular food boxes is $30 per unit, which retails for about $60.
The Thanksgiving Holiday Box is $36.
