Kelly Wilson of Tampa

Last Update: 1/21 9:21 am

We'd like to introduce you to Jefferson Awards Nominee Kelly Wilson of Tampa.
Carolyn Obenberger has known Kelly for about four years and shared the following:

I met Kelly Wilson when I adopted my dog Bebe.  Since then, I have volunteered as a
foster mother for dogs awaiting a permanent home.  I also adopted a second dog from her about a month ago.  Kelly is the co-founder of Lost Angels Animal Rescue.

She works tirelessly to reduce the number of abandoned animals through spray/neuter.
Afterwards, she finds loving families to adopt them.  You will see her every Saturday
in front of the Petco at Fletcher and Dale Mabry with a group of dogs available for
adoption.  This is in addition to the hours she spends every week taking them to the vet,  screening and visiting potential families.  Kelly personally goes to the shelter and
selects as many dogs as she feels she can find loving homes for.  Kelly Wilson is truly
the voice for these innocent victims who have no voice of their own.
