Carol Lynn Veierstahler of Tampa

Last Update: 1/19 9:30 am

We'd like to introduce you to local Jefferson Awards Nominee, Carol Lynn Veierstahler.  She was nominated by her sister, Karen King.  King shared the following with us:

As an RN, I know how important blood donations are in an emergency situation.

Since I am visiting my sister here in Florida, I went with her to give blood. Carol goes
bi-weekly to give blood. She is well respected by the staff for her generous donation of blood.  Sometimes it takes her up to two hours of her time.  I am nominating my sister, Carol, for Jefferson Award because I hope her story of simple generosity of the gift of life inspires others to give blood regularly
as she does so that there is always a supply on hand when needed, especially in
emergencies.

I am very proud of my sister Carol for this simple act of kind generosity -- a gift
that is a life saving donation.
